2.When Christ our Lord came down, He took the victory crown
Which sealed the proof that He was Lord of all
Ascending to His throne, as Jesus God alone, That through Him I will never have to fall
3.When time is no more, and I finally cross that shore
To go to join them in that heavenly host
I’ll leave behind this life, with its trials and its strife
Kept by the power of the Holy Ghost!
